History of La Viña

Traditional homemade cuisine

Bar Restaurante La Viña was opened in Donostia-San Sebastian in October 1959 by my parents Eladio Rivera and Carmen Jiménez, together with my uncle Antonio Rivera and my aunt Conchi Hernáez. Nowadays the establishment is run by myself, Santiago Rivera.

From the very beginning, La Viña’s main characteristics have been the service and the respect for our clients, to whom we have always offered our traditional homemade cuisine, based on first rate ingredients and entirely cooked in our kitchen.

lients and friends that visit us every day make up the history and evolution of our restaurant. We owe our joy and friendship to them, and to them we give our most sincere welcome. My parents Eladio and Carmen taught me to receive them at home with delight and respect.
